Aaron Holloway and I shared a vision of providing quality legal guidance to clients in a manner that fostered trust and created friendships. With this goal in mind, we embarked on our own venture, and formed Haney Holloway, PLLC. Today, our law practice is thriving and steadily growing. Both Aaron and I are AV rated lawyers by Martindale Hubbell.

Practice Areas
I have practiced law for over 20 years. My practice areas include Business, Contracts, Corporate, Mergers and Acquisitions, Real Estate, Leasing, Lending and Taxation. My clients are both individuals and businesses and include individual business owners, physicians and their medical practices, Department Defense contractors, security contactors, venture capital firms, lenders, health care providers, real estate firms, funeral directors and funeral homes, Landlords and Tenants, manufacturers and franchisees. I frequently represent individuals in starting their businesses including the formation of business entities, the drafting of governing documents for those entities and drafting of other agreements relating to the business, including shareholder agreements, buy-sell agreements and employment agreements.

Background and Prior Legal Experience
I received a Bachelor of Science degree in finance from Auburn University and my Juris Doctorate in law from Cumberland School of Law. In addition, I received my Masters of Laws (LLM) in Taxation from New York University. My knowledge of and recognition of tax issues as well as my prior experience in business valuation, business transactions, real estate and Governmental contracting and interaction gives me additional knowledge and skills which allow me to represent my clients with a broader understanding of the business issues at stake. In addition to my legal experience, I also have business and transactional experience. I served as counsel to and as a business broker for Thomas Pierce & Company, a firm specializing in valuation and sales of funeral homes and cemeteries. As a business broker, I analyzed every aspect of our client’s business, including financial performance, market trends, operational concerns and competitors. We developed forecasts of projected revenues and aided in positioning each business in order to maximize its value upon a transfer. During my time with Thomas Pierce & Company, I provided guidance to our clients and assisted in closing over $100,000,000 in transactions. I was also engaged by The Staubach Company to represent the Department of Management Services and the various Agencies of the State of Florida. During that time I served as executive director on the State of Florida account and was the primary negotiator on behalf of the State of Florida in negotiating leases representing over 1,500,000 square feet of office space resulting in savings to the State of Florida of over $80,000,000.

Haney Holloway was founded on the ideal that there is a need for a boutique law firm that caters to businesses and professionals from startup to succession planning, and everything in-between. We aspire to provide exceptional legal guidance to our clients in an economical and timely manner. Respect for our team, clients, and local community and a desire for long term relationships are what we strive for.
